Classic School Photo
Growing up in pubic school, we all remember that classic blue backdrop school photo we all had for our yearbooks. The one your mom would order and place on the fridge, or send to your grandma, or proudly display a K-12 yearly photo frame slowly filling out year-by-year until the exciting 12 grade graduation photo. When you got older, perhaps you opened a trunk at your parent’s house and went through all the school photos, reminiscing about all those ages passing by. And most of the time, the photo was always that classic blue backdrop.
After becoming a homeschool mom, I thought about how important it was for me to continue having that rite of passage tradition for my own children. The classic blue backdrop. I didn’t want them to miss out on that norm. So, being a photographer, I decided to set up my studio every year to have Picture Day!
Being in the homeschool community and co-ops, you meet other parents who also homeschool, and I quickly realized that this is a need that other parents were looking for. I decided to open my studio and offer this service for others who are looking to continue this experience for their children. The service is simple. A quick, in-and-out, 15 minute increment school photo time slot. If we need the whole 15 minutes, cool. If we don’t and it only takes 5 minutes, also cool. Make it fun! Come in for a school photo and then go out for a treat. Make it memorable!
Details and Booking Information
Date: November 13th 2025
Studio Location: Located on the edge of Laurel/Columbia, near Montpelier Shopping Center. Address will be sent out after booking.
Session Duration: 15 minutes (minimum) per child. If you have more then one child needing school photos, please purchase the time slot you’d like to START at (make sure the time slots following your start time are available for all your children’s photos) , and contact me immediately after booking, and I will set aside the other time slots for your other children. Be sure to fill out the booking document with ALL your children’s names.
Price Includes:
- Each time slot includes ONE (1) basic edited school photo in digital form. Additional 5th Grade Cap-and Gown photo can be purchased for $25.
- Basic School Photo Retouching
- Print Release for personal use.

- Select Your Preferred Time Slot:
- Chose your time slot from the link.
- Complete the Booking Form:
- Share your contact details and sign. If you have multiple children coming in for their school photo, include ALL their names.
- Secure Your Session:
- A non-refundable booking fee is required to secure your spot.
Completion of Booking Documents and Payment must be completed within the day. If not completed, the time slots will be released to availability for others to book. Thank you for understanding!
